Hold the Insta360 Flow Pro and walk around and the stabilizer always keeps your iPhone camera pointed at you or your subject thanks to Apple’s DockKit and Deep Track 3.0. It’s designed for content creators on the move.

The gimbal includes a selfie stick, tripod, power bank and tracking ring light.

It’s hard to record compelling video with a static camera. Insta360 Flow Pro lets users walk and its 3-axis gimbal stabilization cancels out the shakes.

“Its mechanical stabilization guarantees to keep every shot shake-free, excelling where a smartphone’s electronic stabilization often fails, such as in low light and zooming in,” promises Insta360.

But the accessory can also be used on a desk, and its enables the camera to rotate 180 degrees.

The gimbal is designed for iPhone, and features a magnetic phone clamp. A MagSafe-compatible magnetic phone mount is an optional add-on. It has a 10-hour battery life.

Uses DockKit and Deep Track 3.0

This is the first gimbal to use Apple’s DockKit, which is part of iOS 17. “It determines how to best position the iPhone camera to frame and track objects, with improved person tracking using combined body and face tracking for human subjects,” promises Apple. The software rotates the iPhone to follow the movement of the subject, and frames shots automatically.

It’s paired with Insta360’s AI tracking technology, Deep Track 3.0. This can even track pets, including dogs, cats and horses.

Together, Flow Pro enables tracking with Apple’s Camera app and over 200 third-party iOS apps
